PROTECT your NATION

 Zechariah 9:8

King James Version

8 And I will encamp about mine house 

because of the army, 

because of him that passeth by, 

and because of him that returneth: 

and no oppressor 

shall pass through them any more: 

for now have I seen with mine eyes.

This is obvious.

But it needs to be said.

This post is for leaders of nations.

And for those curious about leadership.

Infiltration comes from within.

And from without.

Are your borders secure?

Is your nation secure?

Are your people secure?

Do they feel safe?

Are you taking care of them?

Or have you exposed your country to thieves, and criminals?

Have you, or others, oppressed your people?

How have you failed your people?

How have you failed your nation?

How have you cared for it?

Any caring, competent, and commonsensical leader will want to secure his country.

It was Trump's FIRST mandate.

Before the president even did that, he already had our "vote".

GOD's "appointed" is going according to GOD's will and plan.

America cannot protect Israel, unless she secures herself first.

Again, PURE common sense.

The world will look to her for leadership.

Because no one else has led, so far.

A leader's first duty to his country, is to protect it.

You don't need to go to elite schools to know that.

How can you enforce your programs, if criminals come and go?

Protect your country from criminals.

Whether it's a person, a gang, or another nation.

Have love for your people.

Common sense says you must have strong border security.

That is, if your really care about your families, and country.

Will you just allow anyone to enter your home?

Will you allow dubious strangers in?

Will you have them take hold of your house?

Will you allow them free rein, and reign, in your house?

Will you allow them to endanger your family?

A year ago, we already "sensed" danger the world would be facing.

That's why we started "FORTIFY your FORTRESS".

We felt a great need to do so, for these reasons:

The year 2024 is nothing to sniff at.

Nothing to sneeze at.

And definitely something you cannot ignore.

Why is that?

Because there is a certain "grouping".

A "movement" of sorts.

A "positioning".

As if all who are for GOD are making a stand now.

As well as those who are against the LORD.

Getting ready for the real battle to come.

I feel it in my bones.

I feel it in the air.

I witness it in daily events.

I see, and feel, the "patterns".

The 7 October 2023 carnage took Israel by surprise.

One wonders how that happened.

Israel's intelligence community is known to be beyond par.

How did that happen?

How could Israel have failed to see the signs?

What is the deeper story here?

Only GOD, and Israel, would know.

After a time, Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi  resigned.

Taking on "full responsibility" for the 7 October failure.

As born again watchman, we saw the SIGNS seven months before October 7.

We were alarmed at how Israel's infighting had laid her open.

To a common-sense mind, that invites danger.

Let not that happen to your country.

Consider your home your nation.

Consider your nation your home.

That's the simplest way to look at it.

Will you allow criminals, and terrorists, in?

Will you cause danger upon your family, and citizens?

Are you prepared for the consequences?

Or will you take measures to PREVENT it?

Remember:

A communist is a communist.

A terrorist is a terrorist.

A jihadist is a jihadist.

There's no reasoning with these types of thinking.

They've been "programmed" for destruction.

They're particularly focused on Israel, and America.

They are prepared to die.

After they've killed you first.

They've been given incentives, and rewards.

Maybe even false hopes.

You can't reason with that.

It's too deeply ingrained.

SECURE your BORDERS.

And if they're already in, send them back.

Do the TRUMP thing.

Deport them.

Now.

They have no business being in your country.

Especially if they cause crime, and chaos, in your country.

Or refuse to follow the laws of your land.

And if your political leaders allow them to stay, or provide sanctuary cities for them, then you know which side your supposed leaders are on.

What will you do when you become witness to such acts of treason?

Your Constitution tells you what to do.

And if it's not there, it's time to update your Constitution.

It's time to TAKE BACK your country.

Maybe, a better word is "RESCUE".

Trump's moves have been successful.

Not popular among the left, but pleasing to citizens.

Who have longed for security for so long.

Who have longed for a true leader for so long.

Hoping there'd be "someone" to take charge.

Well, Trump it is.

Rail not at Trump.

See what he's doing.

He's just being true to being president.

He promised his voters "border security".

It's what a decent leader would do.

Especially if his nation is being destroyed.

He has to work quadruple time with his team.

We have no idea what the president goes through each day.

The thoughts, the plans, the decision process, dealing with enemies.

No one would want to be in his, or Netanyahu's position.

But someone's gotta do it, and they're on it.

President Trump wants America safe, sound, and secure.

That's the groundwork for future peace, and prosperity.

But first:

KICK out the criminals.

SECURE your borders.

GUARD your citizens.

Above all, LOOK to GOD always.

He shall guide you what to do.

Every step of the way.

The FISH gate

 

JESUS declares:

Luke 11:11

King James Version

11 If a son shall ask bread 

of any of you that is a father, 

will he give him a stone? 

or if he ask a fish, 

will he for a fish give him a serpent?

What is the significance of Jerusalem's "Fish Gate"?

SPIRIT led me to this verse today.

Definitely a Bible prophecy.

Which we must pay attention to.

Zephaniah 1:10

King James Version

10 And it shall come to pass in that day, 

saith the Lord, 

that there shall be the noise of a cry 

from the fish gate, 

and an howling from the second, 

and a great crashing from the hills.

What "day" was that?

Zephaniah 1:7

King James Version

7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: 

for the day of the Lord is at hand: 

for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, 

he hath bid his guests.

Why was the LORD angry?

Why was judgment to be meted out?

What must Israel expect?

and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, 

and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

and that swear by Malcham;

6 And them that are turned back from the Lord; 

and those that have not sought the Lord, 

nor enquired for him.

Zephaniah 1:14-16

the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

15 That day is a day of wrath, 

a day of trouble and distress, 

a day of wasteness and desolation,

16 A day of the trumpet and alarm 

against the fenced cities, 

and against the high towers.

Zephaniah 1:17-18

and their flesh as the dung.

18 Neither their silver nor their gold 

shall be able to deliver them

by the fire of his jealousy:

of all them that dwell in the land.

The fish gate must be that important, if the cry, during the day of the LORD, would originate from there.

I remembered SPIRIT and I wrote an earlier post about the fish gate.

Which was the second gate rebuilt by Israel, through Nehemiah:

Nehemiah 3:3

3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, 

who also laid the beams thereof, 

and set up the doors thereof, 

the locks thereof, 

and the bars thereof.

2 Chronicles 33:14

King James Version

14 Now after this he built a wall 

without the city of David, 

on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, 

even to the entering in at the fish gate, 

and compassed about Ophel, 

and raised it up a very great height, 

and put captains of war 

in all the fenced cities of Judah.

That verse referred to the builder as Manasseh, the 14th king of Judah.

He began to rule at age 12, and did so for 55 years.

Only thing, he did evil in the eyes of the LORD.

So, GOD sent him judgement.

But was brought back to his kingdom, when he repented of his sins.

That's why he built the outer wall of Jerusalem, even to the "entering in at the fish gate".

We also learn that his son, Amon, did evil in the eyes of the LORD.

After which, his son, Josiah, became king.

2 Chronicles 33:25

King James Version

25 But the people of the land slew all them 

that had conspired against king Amon; 

and the people of the land made Josiah 

his son king in his stead.

The connection of king Josiah to prophet Zephaniah, can be found in this verse:

Zephaniah 1:1

King James Version

1 The word of the Lord 

which came unto Zephaniah 

the son of Cushi, 

the son of Gedaliah,

the son of Amariah, 

the son of Hizkiah, 

in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, 

king of Judah.

Interesting how Jerusalem's "fish gate" witnessed her sins, ruin, other nations' oppression of her, and will witness GOD's future wrath.

Another interesting revelation is what will happen to the Levant during that "day of the LORD".

*NOTE: there will be a "remnant" of the people of Israel, as this verse says:

Zephaniah 2:7

7 And the coast shall be 

for the remnant of the house of Judah; 

they shall feed thereupon:

in the houses of Ashkelon 

shall they lie down in the evening: 

for the Lord their God shall visit them, 

and turn away their captivity.

Isaiah 30:13

What causes GOD's wrath?

What causes towers to fall?

What causes walls to be breached?

Whether spiritual, or physical walls, and towers.

GOD tells us more:

and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, 

that they may add sin to sin:

children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

GOD's people did not listen to Him, thus, His wrath.

When He had an infallible solution.

The strategy, of all strategies.

A SPIRITUAL house

 

1 Peter 2:5

King James Version

5 Ye also, as lively stones, 

are built up a spiritual house, 

an holy priesthood, 

to offer up spiritual sacrifices, 

acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

What does it really mean, "fortify your fortress"?

It simply means, fortify your soul.

Check for breaches.

Where does Satan get to you?

Where are you sinning?

Where are you kept unaware?

Is your heart right, with JESUS?

Are you living, as GOD would have you live?

Are you born of the SPIRIT?

Do you believe in JESUS?

Have you a love for the LORD?

GOD is really merciful, you know.

He could have wiped out His holy nation anytime.

The same goes for all of us.

Psalm 78:40-41

40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, 

and grieve him in the desert!

41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, 

and limited the Holy One of Israel.

But He reasoned:

Even as GOD is merciful, it's no excuse for us to be careless.

We need to look after our hearts, our spiritual houses.

Proverbs 4:23

We all have breaches in our spirit.

Our spiritual houses are broken down.

Our lives are in disarray.

Our forts are unmanned.

We do not have watchers.

Neither do we watch.

Watch for what?

Many are not aware the sins they are committing.

Many deny they sin.

Many don't acknowledge the presence of GOD.

Neither, the presence of evil.

As such, their forts are breached.

There's no need to ambush.

Satan lives in their house.

He has made himself comfortable there.

We did write about "whitewashed walls" in the previous post.

Wherein we look good on the outside, but are rotten on the inside.

We're all slick, and savvy, but full of sin.

Those are the breaches I'm talking about.

Potential openings for Satan.

We need fortification of the soul.

Through acknowledgment.

That we are sinful.

That we need GOD.

That only JESUS can save us.

That we need to be born again.

That we need SPIRIT to teach us Scripture.

That we, too, can share the gospel with others.

That's how it is to have a spiritual house.

The house of your heart is safe, secured, saved.

Under the GRACE and GUIDANCE of GOD.

The WHITEWASHED wall

 

Acts 23:2-3

2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them 

that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.

3 Then said Paul unto him, 

God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: 

for sittest thou to judge me after the law, 

and commandest me to be smitten 

contrary to the law?

Somehow, that made me laugh.

As I imagined  apostle Paul call the high priest Ananias, "thou whited wall".

The born again knows fearless Paul is staunch about GOD's law.

How he is perfectly faithful to CHRIST.

And how he, like the LORD, cannot bear any form of hypocrisy.

JESUS said this about "whitewashing":

Matthew 23:27-28

scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! 

for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, 

which indeed appear beautiful outward, 

but are within full of dead men's bones, 

and of all uncleanness.

28 Even so ye also outwardly

but within ye are full of hypocrisy 

and iniquity.

GOD's anger towards the prophets of Israel, could not be contained either.

The LORD had much to say about "whitewashing":

GOD likes things pure, perfect, and precise.

EXACTLY as He commands it.

He cannot accept defilement of any sort.

Corruption is an abomination to GOD.

Walls have a great role to play in fortification.

Whether it be literal, or symbolic.

FORTIFICATION of FAITH

 

Psalm 62:8

King James Version

8 Trust in him at all times; 

ye people, pour out your heart before him: 

God is a refuge for us. Selah.

We've all seen from the rebuilding series, how Nehemiah approached rebuilding Jerusalem in the Old Testament.

A product of grief, at seeing the city in ruins.

A product of prayer, for GOD to help him with the project.

A product of vision, that the extensive rebuilding can be done.

A product of faith, that Nehemiah had his senses about.

A product of hard work, despite the many enemy threats.

It took a mere 52 days for the walls to be repaired.

(Remember, this is a city; not just any ordinary wall.)

And all because Nehemiah prayed.

King Artaxerxes allowed Nehemiah to take leave as cupbearer.

With Nehemiah in constant communication with GOD.

Sure, Jerusalem is GOD's holy city.

But until, and unless the people's hearts were right with GOD, the LORD wouldn't have allowed the grand scheme.

He saw through Nehemiah's heart.

Nehemiah 1:3-4

3 And they said unto me, 

The remnant that are left 

of the captivity there in the province 

are in great affliction and reproach: 

the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, 

and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, 

that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, 

and fasted, 

and prayed before the God of heaven,

Approaching the king, Nehemiah said:

Nehemiah 2:5

5 And I said unto the king, 

If it please the king, 

and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, 

that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, 

unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, 

that I may build it.

The king agreed, and the rebuilding began.

By GOD's design, the Jews believed in Nehemiah's project.

Also because Nehemiah acknowledged GOD.

Nehemiah 2:18

King James Version

18 Then I told them of the hand of my God 

which was good upon me; 

as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. 

And they said, 

Let us rise up and build. 

So they strengthened their hands 

for this good work.

Afterwards, all went according to GOD's plan, through Nehemiah.

No matter the threats, or volume of work, the rebuilding progressed.

It is so, when people's hearts are one.

When they believe in something good.

When they believe in the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

When they believe it is for the safety of all.

We need more leaders like Nehemiah.

Who never thought of self, but only of GOD.

And of his people.

What a remarkable man of GOD!
